Frequently Asked Questions

• How do I generate my Wrapped? Paste your Instagram profile link in the app, tap Generate, and wait while we create your recap.
• Why does it take a few minutes? We need to collect your posts and compute insights. The more posts you have, the longer it takes. We’ll show an estimated wait time on the loading screen.
• Which profiles work? Public profiles work by default. For private accounts, you’ll need to authenticate via our creator flow to generate a full report.
• What if I’m a creator/business account? Connect using the creator option to unlock more detailed insights like reach, impressions and saves.
• How do purchases work? Basic reports are free. Upgrading unlocks advanced cards and features. Purchases are handled through Apple; for refunds, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy IG Year Wrapped does not ask for or store your Instagram password. We use only the data needed to generate your recap. For public profiles, we analyse your publicly available posts. For creator accounts, we use the official APIs and only store insights necessary to generate your report.
